For our first location in a retail hub, we tapped architectural firm Messana O’Rorke to design an apothecary inspired by our original neighborhood shop – Chelsea. Mirroring the distinct dichotomy of our flagship, the space is divided into a bright white entrance done in Venetian plaster dedicated to skincare and a dark fumed oak interior reserved for perfumery.
Arabaseceto marble touches and an absolute black granite fragrance bar reinforce the juxtaposition, while James Turrell-inspired lighting incorporated into niche displays brings a soft focus onto the products featured on every shelf.
